The Otto Road Shooting Range USPSA matches are organized and designed to promote and enhance a shooters ability to safely shoot in realistic courses of fire.
Matches are held on the second Saturday of each month, weather permitting. Signup for matches will be done on practiscore. All matches and stages will follow the guidelines and rules of USPSA. Signup for matches at practiscore is mandatory. Shooters stage review will start at 8:00 AM, mandatory briefing begins at 8:45 AM, shooting begins 9:00 AM, unless otherwise stated on practiscore sign up.
Match fee is $20 for one gun $25 for two guns. Unless otherwise stated on practiscore.
New shooters to the sport are welcomed and encouraged. Basic weapons handling and safety should be known before first match. Any questions you have please contact the match directors. Courses of fire will typically be five to six stages including a classifier. Round count will be posted to practiscore.
Cold range rules apply. There will be designated safety areas for shooters to handle their firearms. NO HANDLING AMMO in safety area. Once you are done in safety area, your firearm must be unloaded, holstered with an empty magazine well with the hammer/striker down. PCC shooters are required to have an easily visible chamber flag inserted and locked in chamber. Revolvers must be empty and holstered. Firearms may only be handled and loaded for firing a stage when under the direct control of a range officer. No firearms may be unholstered or handled at any other time unless in a safety area.
