Armed Women of America (AWA)

The non-profit organization previously known as The Well Armed Woman Shooting Chapters (TWAW Shooting Chapters), recently changed its name at the national level to Armed Women of America (AWA). AWA exists to enable women to be their own self-protectors, creating freedom, peace of mind and confidence in themselves. Our goal is to educate and empower women in a safe and non-threatening environment for their effective and responsible self-defense with a firearm.

With 335 chapters and over 13,000 members nationwide, we would love for you to join us. The Cheyenne chapter of AWA meets the third Sunday of every month at the Otto Road Shooting Range.
